Cambrius is inspired by cambium: the living layer in plants responsible for continuing growth. Useful intelligence should likewise continually incorporate new information, form connections and change as its environment changes.

Built from real systems

The architecture grew out of building domain-specific systems where information arrives naturally, accumulates over time and must become available to specialized AI processes without losing context, evidence or human control.
